Thomas Hinkle

Born in Atlanta, Georgia; Thomas Hinkle Jr. is a visual artist who focuses on illustration. He has had a major interest for art ever since he was very young, in 2011 he won first place in the 2011-2012 DeKalb County PTA Reflections Contest. As a senior in high school he accepted a small scholarship to attend the Art Instruction Schools where he is currently taking lessons. Thomas Hinkle’s art mainly focuses on surrealism and symbolism, he draws inspiration from Salvador Dali, Keith Haring, and Rene Magritte. He is currently enrolled in the Visual Arts program at Savannah State University where he is pursuing a BFA in drawing and illustration.
